Sam Masiello oversees the MX Logic® Threat Operations Center.  In this role, he represents MX Logic’s primary resource for monitoring and predicting threat trends, offering insights to customers about potential threat vulnerabilities, and recommending new technologies to enhance email and Web security. Masiello has more than 5 years of experience in email, network and applications security — in addition to 12 years of software development experience.  Before becoming director of threat management for MX Logic, Masiello managed the company’s quality assurance department, which tests software, foresees issues and risks, develops test plans and documents test results. Prior to joining MX Logic, he held a variety of positions with Synacor, an ISP premium services provider, including project manager, software developer and manager of quality assurance.  Previously, Masiello served as a software developer for Client Logic, an outsourced services company.
