The Problem: Web-based threats are increasing in number and complexity, and all businesses that depend on the Internet risk exposure to spyware, viruses and phishing attacks. In fact, nearly 40% of all malware enters through Web browsers, and up to two-thirds of business computers are infected with spyware.
The Solution: Ademino & Associates took a proactive approach in the fight against Web-based threats. They had been spending too much time cleaning machines that were infected with spyware. In addition, they had no Internet usage policy enforced. Rather than relying on desktop software for Web security, they implemented the MX Logic Web Defense Service with strict content and threat control policies. The company saw immediate results – reduced exposure to threats, more productive use of employee time, improved performance of their machines, and added security measures for the company.
