Trojans present biggest threat

Trojans are the biggest threat to system stability and network security, Microsoft has claimed.
In a special article published ahead of the software giant's Security Intelligence Report, CNet claims that the other big finding of the study is that Chinese computers are infected with more web-based exploits than any other country in the world.
It is thought that all web security exploits infiltrate in China.
Meanwhile, the group also found that while the overall number of web, network and email security attacks are dwindling, those that are prevalent are becoming increasingly easy to exploit.
"Numbers are growing for trojans; things are getting right through the antivirus and spyware software. It's not stopping the targeted malicious executables," John Pescatore, an analyst at Gartner, told the website.
Meanwhile, Jeff Williams, Microsoft security architect, told the Register that many people and organizations are still failing to understand the scope and extent of internet threats.
